Blackboard is offline daily for backup from 3:00 a.m. - 4:30 a.m. EST. Blackboard's standing maintenance window is Midnight - 6 a.m. on Saturdays.
If you do not have a text box for entering text, please check the top of your screen to see if you have a yellow bar asking to run the Active X control. If so, right click on the yellow bar and run the Active X. If not, you will need to make the Visual Text Box Editor unavailable. To do this, login to Bb and click on Personal Information on the left menu. Click Set Visual Text Box Editor Options and select Unavailable. Click Submit. Click OK.
